PALIN, Sarah, Going Rogue: An American Life (2009)

Buy Sarah Palin - Going RogueThis 413 page book is an easy read designed to answer two key questions about it's author.  "Who is Sarah Palin?" and "What really happened while she was running for office?"  The book answers these two questions adaquetly focussing on the "Who is Sarah" throughout the entire work.  It is written in a first person narrative style, and Mrs. Palin takes a casual tone with her readers.

She reverently points out her mistakes and the mistakes of others with a seeming desire to expose the truth and move forward.

The book sold more than 2.6 million copies1 2 in 2009 and earned at least $7 million dollars3, making it one of the most popular books of 2009.

The book is not written in a style or form that will qualify it to be a "classic."  It is an informative easy read that gives us insight to a dynamic American.  This book is recommended to anyone who wishes to understand the political process.  Mrs. Palin does a good job describing a different perspective of a political campaign from the one displayed in the media.

Another Review

Visitors to this history site may be interested in another review of this book, which I enjoyed reading.  Getting the first-person perspective on things is always good, and this book helps readers achieve this goal.
